PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain information on rotation without so much time taken after the start of a vehicle, while reducing the consumption a microcomputer resources. SOLUTION: An integrated valueΔtsum of pulse intervalΔt per rotation of a signal rotor is previously calculated, and when the next pulse intervalΔt (m) past the one rotation is gained, once after the updating of the integrated valueΔtsum has been made, an average pulse intervalΔtave as the mean of the integrated valueΔtsum is determined. In other words, pulse information is extracted, based on time information required for one rotation of a tire. After one rotation of the tire has been made, the pulse information is obtained with the uniformity the same as that for one rotation earier. This enables replacement of the pulse information obtained one rotation earier with the pulse information obtained for the present rotation thereby facilitating the gaining of the pulse information with the uniformity cancelled.
