PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of conventional technique to cut waterweed with a cutting blade and store the cut waterweed from a recovery conveyor to a storage conveyor in bulk or web form to cause the danger such as load collapse and load shift in the case of reloading the grass with a transfer conveyor to a specialized ship to transport the waterweed to the shore and the problems to necessitate much labor and time caused by the difficult work for separating waste material such as empty can hidden in the recovered waterweed by loosening the bulk or web waterweed on the land. SOLUTION: The waterweed cutter is provided with a cutting means for finely cutting the waterweed recovered by a waterweed recovering conveyor 3. The waterweed is cut to an easily handleable size to prevent the formation of bulky lump or web and, accordingly, the safety in the transportation of the waterweed is improved, the separation work of waste material from the landed waterweed can be facilitated because the stored waterweed does not form a bulky or web form and the workability of the post-treatment of the waterweed can easily be improved by the use of the cutter.
