PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a preset counter and facilitate operating for input works of set values to make easy handling. SOLUTION: The preset counter is composed of an indicator 2 for indicating a set flow rate, a setting unit 10 for setting a value on the indicator 2, and an operating unit 20 for giving signals of start, stop and reset. The setting unit 10 has a preset counter numerical value setting structure composed of a digit switching dial 11 for setting the number of digits for indicated digits on the indicator 2, and a numerical value increment/decrement switch 12 for setting a numerical value every digit set by the switching dial 11 and hence has no need of many switches corresponding to the digits on the indicator. The digit setting dial and the numerical value setting switch are disposed separately to simplify the operation and reduce a wrong setting input operation. Required switches on the setting unit are reduced to enable the miniaturization of the entire counter.
