PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition with an excellent storage stability which has a good curable property by the irradiation of an active energy ray such as an ultraviolet light or the like and an excellent handling property on a process from the viewpoint of balance such as a refractive index, mobility or the like, and to provide an optical material whereby the physical properties of a molded product after curing have a high refractive index and a high transparency. SOLUTION: The photocurable resin composition is characterized by containing (A) a sulfur-containing (meth)acrylate compound represented by the formula (I) or a radical reactive composition containing the compound, (B) a polymerization inhibitor of 0.001-0.5 pts.wt. with respect to the component (A) of 100 pts.wt. and (C) a polymerization initiator.
