PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce and dub a desired program in a desired order with simple manipulation in the case that a large number of programs are recorded on a large-capacity recording medium by making clearly understandable which program is recorded in which order. SOLUTION: When a plurality of video contents are recorded on an HD 23, the thumbnail of respective video contents which can be displayed on a television screen is prepared and stored in the HD. When a plurality of video contents recorded on the HD are reproduced, the display output of the thumbnail is carried out on the television screen so that a user can designate the video contents to be reproduced and the order of the reproduction, and specified video contents are reproduced in specified order of reproduction. |
