PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiver that has a simple configuration, and large effects on interference and multipath fading. SOLUTION: This diversity receiver has an antenna switcher 2 that connects one of a plurality of antennas; a reception circuit 3 that demodulates a high-frequency signal from the antenna that is connected by the antenna switcher 2; a convolution coding/decoding circuit 4, that decodes the demodulation output signal of the reception circuit 3 for outputting digital information, compares the likelihood information obtained from the convolution coding/decoding circuit 4 with a switching threshold Ta, and changes the antenna according to the comparison result between the likelihood information and switching threshold Ta; thus switching the antenna, even if a reception signal is deteriorated due to an interference wave and multipath distortion, to simplify the configuration, and hence improving the interference-resistance property.
