HERMETICALLY CLOSED TYPE ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor of high reliability prevented from surface damage such as wear caused by direct contact due to a break of a lubricating oil film between a shaft and a main bearing for the compressor in severe operating conditions. SOLUTION: Nitriding is applied to the shaft for the compressor after a first grinding process. The surface is ground in a second grinding process, and the hardness of a sliding surface is set to 1000 HV or more.
