PHOTODETECTOR FOR RECORDER-REPRODUCER AND LIGHT RECEIVING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetector used for a recorder-reproducer and a light receiving circuit which can increase the signal transmission rate and also can prevent the lowering of signal accuracy at a low cost. SOLUTION: This photodetector is used for an optical information recorder- reproducer that casts a light beam on an optical recording medium to record, reproduce and erase the information. The photodetector includes a 1st light receiving part 1 which receives the reflected light from the optical recording medium and reads the light beam intensity in a recording mode and 2nd light receiving parts 2-5 which receive the reflected light from the optical recording medium and read the information out of the recording medium in a reproduction mode. These parts 1 and 2-5 are arranged separately from each other.
