PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably convey a work without needing much time for replacement of a step even when the works are different in size from each other. SOLUTION: An X type jig unit 15 installed alternately with a work support plate 11 on a toothed belt 7 is formed that upper and lower arms 17 and 19 are rotatably intercoupled by a center pin 21. Guide rollers 27, 29, 37, and 39 are situated at the lower ends of guide pins 23, 25, 33, and 35 at the two ends parts of the upper and lower arms 17 and 19. The guide rollers 27, 37 and 29, 39 are inserted in a recessed part 5a of a jig guide 5 and recessed part 6a of a jig guide 6 situated along a work conveying direction P. By moving the jig guides 5 and 6 and side plates 2 and 3 in a manner to approach and separate from each other, the upper and lower arms 17 and 19 are rotated centering around a center pin 21. A distance between the guide pins 23 and 33 of the adjoining X type jig units 15 and a distance between the guide pins 35 and 25 are changed.
