PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the greasy sensation caused by water-soluble polymers and increase the spreadability, when it is applied, in a hair cosmetic to which water-soluble polymers are formulated. SOLUTION: The objective hair cosmetic comprises water-soluble polymers other than polyethylene glycol, a polyethylene glycol with a number-average molecular weight of <=100,000 and a polyethylene glycol with a number-average molecular weight of >=500,000.
