PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an ultra-high purity iron exhibiting excellent ductility at a room temperature and a high temperature of >=800 K. SOLUTION: Such ultra-high purity iron as containing >=99.995 mass% Fe is produced. The iron has >=45% elongation in a tension test at the room temperature and >=80% elongation in the tension test at the high temperature of >=800 K.
