PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional piezoelectric ceramic speaker consisting of piezoelectric ceramics disk element that causes insufficient music performance and insufficient reproduction quality of a conversation because reproduced frequencies are not uniform and a large higher harmonic distortion depending on the frequency component is caused. SOLUTION: The transducer 1 consists of a piezoelectric ceramics disk 2 consisting of a single piece or pieces and of a film. A material attenuating sound vibration such as a synthetic material and especially a film of a polymer is adhered to the piezoelectric ceramics by an adhesive. Preferably the piezoelectric ceramics disk 2 is adhered with a hard adhesive and a unit is entirely adhered at its circumferential end into a frame made of a synthetic material on the other hand so as to improve a uniform frequency characteristic and a less harmonic distortion thereby obtaining a sufficient effect on the reproduction of music and a conversation.
