PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board device composed of a circuit board on which an electric circuit is formed and a base plate and a method of manufacturing the same, where the circuit board and the base plate are well joined together with an adhesive agent. SOLUTION: A circuit board device is equipped with a circuit board 12 on which an electric circuit is formed, and a base plate 14 jointed to the circuit board 12 with an adhesive agent 15 where a recess 13 is provided to the rear of the circuit board 12.
