PURPOSE: A method for transmitting charging data of an exchange is provided to effectively transmit charging data regardless of a fault condition of a data only port by transmitting the charging data using an IPC communication through an allocated node. CONSTITUTION: An SSP(Switching Subsystem Processor) transmits charging data to a node. The node transmits the data received to an OCP(Operation Control Processor). In addition, the node transmits the data to an IPC(Inter Protocol Communication) server using IPC communication(S10,S12,S16). The OCP collects the charging data received and stores the data in a charging disk(S14). An application processing unit of the IPC server checks the charging data transmitted and judges whether an error is generated in the data(S18,S20). In case that the error is generated in the data, the retransmission of the charging data is requested to the OCP(S26). In case that there's no error in the data, the charging data are stored in a disk. After that, information on the charging data is stored in a database. The data stored are classified and managed(S22,S24). The charging data are searched from charging data catalogs. After that, the charging data are transmitted to the IPC server through the allocated node(S28).
