PURPOSE: A polishing belt exchanging apparatus is provided to easily exchange a polishing belt by allowing a base frame to be moved towards an outer portion of a strip. CONSTITUTION: A body(10) is positioned below a strip(150). Base frames(11,12) are vertically installed at both sides of the body(10). A roll for mounting a polishing belt(200) is positioned between the base frames(11,12). That is, a backup roll(13) placed below the strip(150), a down roll(14) mounted on a moving block(17) slidably moved along the base frames(11,12), a coil releasing shaft(15) of the polishing belt(200), and a winding shaft(16) for winding the polishing belt(200) are mounted between the base frames(11,12). In addition, the base frames(11,12) are slidably mounted on a rail member(20). A driving cylinder is provided below the body(10).
