PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display capable of display with no sense of incompatibility by making joints as narrow as possible. SOLUTION: An attachment 10 for fixing separate liquid crystal display units U continuously arranged in at least the horizontal direction on the frame of a display body has a nearly U-shaped lateral form, such a height as to pinch the display units U interposedly in the vertical direction and such a depth as to house the display units U in the depth direction. The width W of the attachment 10 is nearly equal to or smaller than that of a liquid crystal panel 1. When the display units U are fixed on the frame, they are nipped by the attachment 10 from the backsides, fixed and supported. The attachment 10 encloses each of the display units U from the top and bottom toward the backside and holds the display units U interposedly in the vertical direction by its moderate elasticity.
