PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system and terminal equipment capable of acquiring start request data more simply. SOLUTION: Network facsimile equipment FX, connected to a local area network LAN, can execute smooth communication operation by receiving an electronic mail(e-mail), after restoring from an energy saving mode to a normal power supply mode. Since each of work station devices WS1 to WSn can execute e-mail receiving operation immediately after starting it, smooth communication operation can be attained.
