PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional dielectric resonator that deteriorates the Q being an important factor of filter characteristics and causes a defective outward appearance because the inner diameter of the dielectric resonator 1 is the same as the inner diameter of a support base 5 and an adhesive 3 is exuded toward the inner circumferential part of the dielectric resonator 1. SOLUTION: In the dielectric resonator where a cylindrical dielectric resonator 1 is placed in a metallic case 4 via a support base 2, the inner diameter of the support base 2 is selected larger than the inner diameter of the dielectric resonator 1.
