SOLUTION: The radiation measuring instrument comprises a radiation detection element 1 containing a light storage material as an essential ingredient, a transfer device 2 for introducing and recovering the radiation detection element 1 to an object to be measured P of a target of measurement, a photo- measuring device 3 for measuring phosphorescence of the light storage material of the radiation detection element 1 excited by receiving radiation from the object to be measured P, and a radiation dose conversion output device 4 for calculating to output the radiation dose based on an amount of emission of the obtained phosphorescence.
