PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container, a lid for the paper container, and their manufacturing method capable of improving the appearance thereof by removing an adverse effect which may be caused by step portions to be formed on the outer faces of the container and the lid. SOLUTION: The paper container has a body part 1, which is formed by butting end faces of both ends 4a and 4b of a sheet member 4 made of paper against each other and by fixing them together and whose cross section is annular, and a bottom lid 2 for closing one end of the body part 1.
