<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP communication system, that absorbs the differences among IP address systems to make communication in a network, where IP machines adopting different IP address systems are mixed. SOLUTION: In the case of transmission, transmission processing is conducted, in compliance with IPv4. When a virtual IP address is set to an IP address of a header denoting a receiver side, the virtual IP address is converted into a real IP address, in compliance with an IPv6 at the receiver side, and a network device in compliance with the IPv6 transmits data. When a real IP address, in compliance with the IPv4 at the receiver side, is set to the IP address of the header denoting the receiver side, the network device in compliance with the IPv4 transmits data. When the header of the received signal at reception is in compliance with the IPv6, the header of the IPv6 is converted into the header of the IPv4, and the reception processing is conducted in compliance with the IPv4. When the header of the reception signal is in compliance with the IPv4, the reception processing is made in compliance with the IPv4, without changing the header of the received signal.</p> |
