PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor, capable of reducing oscillations of a brush which comes into contact with a commutator, without bringing the brush into full contact with the commutator, and a motor-driven power steering device therewith. SOLUTION: Contact surface sections 4a, 4a which come into contact with the commutator 24 are formed at an end surface opposing to the commutator 24. A brush 4, having a non-contact surface section 4b between the contact surface sections 4a, 4a, is brought into multi-surface contact with the commutator 24, thus stabilizing contacting between the brush 4 and the commutator 24. |
