This process for rendering pre-existing information (58), adapted to be reproduced by an electronic information reproduction system, accessible to individuals suffering from visual and/or auditory deficiencies is characterized in that it comprises the following steps: creation by an operator of a modified form (64) of the pre-existing information, this modified form being perceivable by the said individuals; and association with the pre-existing information, in the said reproduction system, of its modified form in such a way as to allow the said individuals to access the information through its modified form.
