PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type lead storage battery which has a finely and easily joinable lid terminals and terminal poles, is inexpensive to manufacture and excellent in quality, and prevents a junction from corrosion. SOLUTION: The closed type lead storage battery comprises: the lid terminals 6 made of a lead alloy of non-calcium series; and the terminal poles 3 made of a lead alloy of calcium series and rising from straps 2a, 2b. The lid terminals 6 and the terminal poles 3 are welded. The terminal pole 3 has: an end 3a welded to the lid terminal 6 and comprising a lead alloy which does not include both antimony and calcium; and a lower part 3b comprising the lead alloy of the calcium series.
