PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna array capable of steering beams radiated from an antenna by using a multiple-line phase controller. SOLUTION: An antenna system for a radio communication system contains M×N radiation element arrays (M and N represent an integer) for radiating beams, a power-supply network for transmitting a large number of signals to the M×N radiation element arrays and M first phase controllers for adjusting beams on the basis of trains by phase-controlling signals transmitted from the network.
