PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably keep the temperature of a fixing film the target one even when fixing speed is changed and to prevent the uneven gloss and the faulty fixation of a fixed image and the uneven transmission of the fixed image on an OHP film. SOLUTION: The fixing film of the fixing device has a conductive layer (heat generating layer), and power is supplied to a magnetic field generation means arranged in a guide member inside the film so as to make the conductive layer generate heat by an electromagnetic induction system, and the power supply is PID-controlled. When the fixing speed is low, the calculated result on the manipulated variable of a switching element by the PID-control is easily fluctuated and the film temperature is hardly converged to the target one because of the overshoot of the film temperature if the change of the film temperature to the change of supply power is large and a proportional gain K is large. When the fixing sped is high, on the contrary, the device does not follow up the change of the film temperature caused by disturbance if the proportional gain K is small. In order to eliminate it, the proportional gain K is made smaller as the fixing speed (rotating speed of the fixing film) gets lower.
