PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube capable of getting out of such a low quality image rapidly as the cut-off voltage of the three color electron guns are difficult to construct so that each electron gun may have same voltage, it has been resolved by adjusting the bias voltage according to the property of each cathode, however, during the warming up period until thermal deformation of each electrode part reaches the equilibrium state, it is difficult to make voltage constant, thus it has been forced to reproduce the image in a low quality image during this period. SOLUTION: The length L2 from the cathode support body 23 for the center beam to the fixing point with the metal tube 24 arranged at its outer circumference and the length L1 from the cathode support body 23 for the center beam to the fixing point with the metal tube 24 is set to be in a relationship L1<L2, making the fixing point of each cathode KB, KG, KR and the cathode support body 23 as a standard.
