PURPOSE: A long message-split transmitting and integrated receiving-available mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to transmit a long message by one time by dividing the long message into parts within a message capacity permitted in a short message service, transmitting them, receiving the split messages, integrating them in order and displaying them on the terminal by one time. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(40) manipulates various mobile terminal and inputs characters. A display unit(30) displays characters inputted through the key input unit(40) and displays various states of the mobile terminal. An RF unit(50) modulates a frequency and transmits/receives a signal through an antenna(ANT). A controller(10) separately transmits a character message and integrates the split message when receiving the split message, and displays them on the display unit(30). A memory(20) stores data such as the character message. A handset(60) inputs and outputs a voice.
