PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm air heater wherein the check for presence of humidifying water stored in a humidifying pan is facilitated, and taking it out from a body case are facilitated to make cleaning for the humidifying pan with ease. SOLUTION: The warm air heater 10 comprises a body case 11, having an air suction inlet 15 and a warm air blow-off outlet 13; a fan air flow passage 18, formed in the body case 11 for communicating the air suction inlet 15 and the warm air blow-off outlet 13 with each other; a convection fan 34 and a heat exchanger section 20 disposed on the fan air flow passage 18; a combustion section 21 for supplying combustion air into the heat exchange section 20; and the humidifying pan 40, disposed in the fan air flow passage 18 located downstream of the heat exchange section 20 for storing the humidifying water vaporized with warm air. A temperature sensor 44 is provided for detecting the temperature of the humidifying pan. There is further provided turbid water informing means, for informing a user of lack of the humidifying water in the humidifying pan 40, when the temperature sensor 44 detects a predetermined temperature or higher.
