PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of accurately recognizing an event of going to bed and an event of leaving the bed, using a boundary side which is the lower side of the outer form of the bed. SOLUTION: The image processing device, when detecting the movement of a human body from a floor face area A to a bed area B through a boundary side B4 or B5 of an image taken diagonally from top to bottom inside a room, determines this movement as an event of going to bed; when detecting the movement of the human body from the bed area B to the floor face area A through the boundary side B4 or B5, the device determines this movement as an event of leaving the bed.
