PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a power transmission system from a crank shaft together to improve the maintenance property. SOLUTION: A parallel four cylinder engine is constituted such that a cam chain sprocket 79 for driving a cam chain 108 and a pulser rotor 116 for ignition are attached adjacent to each other to one end side of the crank shaft 81, a drive gear 142 for driving a clutch 144 is formed in a crank web part of an outermost cylinder on one end side of the crank shaft, an AC generator 123 is arranged on the other end side of the crank shaft, a pulse generator 118 is supported on a cover member 117 covering one end side, and a release lever 166 and the pulse generator are arranged on the opposite side across the crank shaft and the clutch.
