PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of rust and prevent noises when a shutter curtain is opened and closed in a shutter winding section constituting a shutter device. SOLUTION: A tubular cover material 31 formed with a heat-shrinkable synthetic resin sheet is fitted to the outer periphery of the shutter winding section 21 rotatably fitted with a fixed shaft 23 at the center. An opening section 33 exposing a drive device 29 to be subjected to maintenance in the shutter winding section is formed by removing the cover material 31. A sheet-like cover 35 is removably fitted to the opening section 33. The opening section 33 is preferably formed by removing the cover material 31 in the peripheral direction. The cover 35 is preferably formed with a transparent synthetic resin sheet. A hook-and-loop fastener 37 is preferably provided at the edge sections of both ends in the winding direction of the cover 35.
