PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device over a wide range of measurable dryness, capable of easily measuring the dryness or wetness of vapor without losses in vapor. SOLUTION: A flow velocity sensor 6, a pressure sensor 5, and a Pitot tube 1 are sequentially mounted to a vapor pipe 2. The dynamic pressure of a vapor to be measured is detected by the Pitot tube 1, and the specific weight and specific volume of the vapor is obtained from the dynamic pressure and the velocity of flow. From the relational expression between the obtained specific weight or specific volume and dryness or wetness, dryness or wetness of the vapor to be measure can be computed.
