PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple construction method for continuously operating an electric car on a single line while constructing one of double-trolley electric car lines. SOLUTION: A crossover 1 is temporarily provided between main up and down electric car lines L1, L2. The crossover 1 is mounted on existing poles P1, P2, P3, P4 on which a crossover already removed for construction has been set. A trolley line 3 for the crossover 1 is suspended from a suspension line 2 via a hanger 4. The trolley line 3 has a number of short trolley bars 5 extensively connected to one another via connection fittings 6. One ends of the suspension line 2 and the trolley line 3 of the crossover 1 are anchored to the pole P1 via a turn buckle 8 and a load cell 10. A crossing clamp 14 is provided at the crossing of the crossover on the main lines L1, L2. The up and down electric car lines L1, L2 are extended into each other via the crossover 1 for permitting construction on a cutoff line while continuously operating the electric car on a single line.
