PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box capable of being resealed without peeling a pasting section of a side face. SOLUTION: The paper box is produced through a step of alternately forming pairs of flat plates and side plates continuously and folding these plates into a rectangular cylindrical shape, a step of bonding a joint flap 3 extended from one flat plate 1 with the inner face of the side plate so as to form a peripheral wall, and a step of folding side folding flaps 5, an inner lid plate 6 and a outer lid plate 7 inwardly so as to close the end face of the paper box. The joint flap 3 is extended to the other flat plate 1, forming an inserting flap 4 at the tip-edge, and a cutting line 8 and a finger hold 9 are provided at the base end of the side plate 2 which is laid on the joint flap 3. The cutting line 8 is cut by inserting a finger into the finger hold 9, and the contents are capable of being taken out of and put into the box by opening the side plate 2 laid on the joint flap 3. The paper box is resealed by closing the side plate together with the joint flap and inserting the inserting flap 4 into the inside of the paper box.
