PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system where a transmitter side device can optionally copy registration data to a receiver side device and to provide a communication terminal. SOLUTION: The communication terminal 2 is provided with a control section 5 that transmits a telephone number provided to each communication terminal 2 to a transmitter side communication terminal when requesting transmission of destination data. The transmitter side communication terminal is provided with a device setting storage area that stores a telephone number of a receiver side communication terminal permitting transmission of destination data, and a control section that discriminates whether or not the device setting storage area stores a telephone number coincident with a telephone number of the communication terminal 2 requesting the transmission of the destination data on the request of the transmission of the destination data from the communication terminal 2 and transmits the destination data to the communication terminal 2 when it discriminates that the device setting storage area stores the coincident telephone number.
