PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized one passing type rice milling machine used by a household power supply, capable of ensuring lowest milling pressure necessary for the milling of rice and considered so that power consumption does not become large. SOLUTION: In the rice milling machine constituted so that unpolished rice is supplied into a grain feed chamber 4 from a hopper 2 and transferred to a rice polishing chamber 6 by a rotary grain feed roll 5 and pressure is applied to unpolished rice under stirring by a rotary rice polishing roll 7 in the rice polishing chamber 6 to remove a rice bran layer of unpolished rice, the grain feed chamber 4 is constituted of a circular hole concentric to the axis of the grain feed roll 5 and the rice polishing chamber 6 is formed from a cylindrical body having a polygonal cross section. In order to increase the pressure applied to unpolished rice in the rice polishing chamber 6, the gap between the outer peripheral end of the grain feed roll 5 and the inner surface of the grain feed chamber 4 is made narrower than the minimum gap between the inner surface of the rice polishing chamber 6 and the outer peripheral end of the rice polishing roll 7, and an unpolished rice supply means 3, which supplies unpolished rice from the hopper 2 to the grain feed chamber 4 in an amount less than that of unpolished rice capable of being transferred per a unit time by the grain feed roll 5, is provided between the hopper 2 and the grain feed chamber 4.
