PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a pyrogenetic substance by a pervaporation membrane method capable of easily and reliably removing a pyrogenetic substance from a liquid containing endotoxin, etc., and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In the method for removing a pyrogenetic substance by the pervaporation membrane method, a pyrogenetic substance-containing liquid is supplied to the primary side of a permeative membrane and the secondary side of the permeative membrane is evacuated to transfer the liquid to the secondary side while suppressing the transfer of the pyrogenetic substance to the secondary side.
