PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that prints out electronic data to a 1st region of a thermal recoding medium as code information and prints out information which is readable by people on a 2nd region of the thermal recoding medium. SOLUTION: The imaging device 10 includes a write means 11 that employs a laser light source and a thermal head, a storage unit 16 that stores the code information and information readable by humans, and an I/F unit 17 connected to an external device, and a PC as a write information supply system 60 is connected to the I/F unit 17. The information to be written on the thermal recording medium is selected from the original electronic data stored in the PC, the PC or the device 10 generates the code information and the information readable by humans, on the basis of the data and stores the two information items to the storage unit 16. The device 10 selects the desired information and allows the write means 11 to print out the code information to the 1st region of the thermal recording medium and prints out information readable by humans to the 2nd region.
