PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a format available for describing information, effectively utilizing significant altitude information acquired from the outside, by keeping compatibility with upper grade conventional UMID format. SOLUTION: Position information about original data preparing places are stored as altitude information of 4 bytes, latitude information of 4 bytes, and longitude information of 4 bytes on spatial coordinate areas in UMID. The novel format uses values A to F in hexadecimal notation for one digit, and is available for describing identification information for identifying the altitude information indicating the distance from the center of the earth or the distance from the surface of the terrestrial ellipsoid measured using a specified geodetic coordinate system, and describing the distance from the surface of the terrestrial ellipsoid as altitude information.
