PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a television camera incorporating a motor-driven universal head that can stably correct an image shake at all times, without causing unnatural image blur, even when the universal head is turned. SOLUTION: The television camera stops shake correction, depending on the information denoting start of turning obtained from the motor-driven universal head and decreases the time constant of a low-frequency component eliminating circuit.
