PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize structure retrieval and high speed access for the purpose of managing structured data and effectively using electronic transaction. SOLUTION: A structured data managing program 2 functions a computer as an identification information issuing means 4 issuing identification information to stored structured data 3, an analysis means 5 obtaining structure information 8 showing the hierarchy relation of structured data 3, a structure information storing means 6 which associatively stores structure information 8 and identification information, an original data storing means 7 which associatively stores structure data 3 and identification information, a retrieval means 12 extracting a retrieval result corresponding to a retrieval request and its identification information by referring to hierarchy information 8 stored in the structure information storage means 6 based on the retrieval request and an original data reading means 14 reading structured data corresponding to identification information extracted by the retrieval means 12 from structured data stored by the original data storing means 7.
