Pyrazolo [3,4-c]-1,2,4-triazolo [4,3-a] pyridines of formula (I) and their salts are new. R1 = H, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, 2-4C alkenyl, phenyl, NMe2, 3-6C cycloalkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl(1-3C alkyl), or 1-6C acyl; where alkyl, Ph and alkenyl are opt. substd. by up to 2 of OH, 1-3C alkyl or CF3, or up to 3 halo; R2, R3 = H, 1-14C alkyl, 1-7C alkoxy(1-7C alkyl), 2-14C alkenyl, 3-7C cycloalkyl, 3-7C cycloalkyl(1-2C alkyl), Het(CH2)n, or a gp. (a); n = 0-2; Het = 4-7C satd. or unsatd. heterocyclyl contg. 1 or 2 O, S, SO2, N, or NR4; a = 1-5; b, c = 0 or 1; R5 = H, OH, 1-5C alkyl, 1-5C alkoxy, 2-5C alkenyl, 3-6C cycloalkoxy, halo, CF3, COOR6, CONR6R7, nitro, or SO2NR6R7; Z = O, S, SO2, CO, or NR8; R4, R6, R7, R8 = H or 1-4C alkyl; Y = 1-5C alkylene or 2-6C alkenylene opt. substd. by up to 2 1-7C alkyl or 3-7C cycloalkyl; in which all alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, or Het gps. are opt. substd. by 1-14, pref. 1-5, of 1-2C alkyl, halo, or CF3 gps.; and R9, R10 = H, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, 6-10C aryl or 6-10C aryloxy. |
