PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that is miniaturized and can apply tension to a printing paper continuing body or a label continuing body conveyed to a printing part. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a supply shaft 2a for mounting a label roll 2 formed by winding a label 1 like a roll, the printing part 3 that extracts the label roll 2 and prints the label 1, and a label winding shaft 4a for winding the printed label 1. The winding shaft 4a is positioned so that the outer peripheral surface of the label roll 2 wound by the winding shaft 4a is always butted on the label 1 extracted from the supply shaft 2a to the printing part 3.
