PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit a component for changing size in response to width of a band-like body, share the other components, and reduce a manufacturing cost, in a winding unit of the band-like body. SOLUTION: In this winding unit, a one-way clutch 2 for driving is mounted to one end side of a fixed shaft 6 via a rotating sleeve 5, a one-way clutch 3 for braking is mounted to the fixed shaft 6 adjacently to the inside of the clutch, a boss part 8 of a reel body 9 is engaged with the outer peripheral surface of each of the clutches 2 and 3, and a reel 16 is removably mounted to the boss part 8. The boss part 8 is provided with an extending part 20 extending inward than the one-way clutch 3, a constitution where a lid member 15 is engaged between the extending part 20 and the boss part 8 is employed, and axial length of the extending part 20 is changed in response to the width of the band-like body.
