PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip receiving device capable of easily disposing of accumulated chips by efficiently collecting the chips separated from discharge liquid discharged from a discharge port of a machine tool without reducing the working ratio of the machine tool. SOLUTION: A plurality of chip receivers 10 are placed in a chip receiver arranging part 7, and since the respective chip receivers 10 are arranged so as to be movable under the discharge port N, even when the chips discharged from the discharge port N are fully loaded in one chip receiver 10, when the other chip receiver 10 is moved and arranged under the discharge port N, new chips can be accumulated in the other chip receiver 10 without stopping the operation of the machine tool. While, chip disposal work can be performed with a time allowance in one chip receiver 10. Conventional chip raking-out work is eliminated so that the chip disposal work can be easily performed.
