PURPOSE: A projection screen and projection system using projection screen is provided to obtain a wide viewing angle of 180 degree in horizontal and vertical directions by allowing each unit lens constituting a lenticular lens to diffuse the incident light in horizontal and vertical directions. CONSTITUTION: A projection screen comprises a Fresnel lens for converting the light incident from a projection lens into a parallel light; a lenticular lens arranged at the front surface of the Fresnel lens, and which forms an image by diffusing the parallel light incident from the Fresnel lens; and a protection panel arranged at the front surface of the lenticular lens. The lenticular lens is constituted by a plurality of unit lens elements(16) corresponding to the number of the total number of pixels. Each of unit lens elements has a light exit surface(20) including a central diffusion section(20a) and a peripheral diffusion section(20b) for diffusing, respectively, the light incident through the central portion of the lens element and the light incident through the peripheral portion of the lens element. |
