PURPOSE: Provided are a polysaccharide electrolyte complex containing water-soluble chitosan oligomer and a biodegradable wound covering material using the same, thereby the wound covering material having improved adhesion, elasticity and endurance can be produced. CONSTITUTION: The hydrophilic polysaccharide electrolyte complex contains anionic polysaccharides selected from the group consisting of water-soluble chitosan oligomer and alginate and salts thereof, carboxymethylated cellulose and salt thereof, hyaluronic acid and salts thereof, and chondroitin sulfate and salts thereof, in which the water-soluble chitosan oligomer has degree of polymerization of 1 to 50 and degree of deacetylation of 30 to 100%. The biodegradable wound covering material contains the hydrophilic polysaccharide electrolyte complex and may further contain additives, wherein the additives are selected from the group consisting of plasticizer, softener, antibiotics, antimicrobial agents, cells, enzymes, antibodies, pigments and mixture thereof. |
