PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing lower plate for plasma display panel is provided to obtain barrier ribs having a high aspect ratio even when the pressure of mold being applied to the second green sheet is relatively small, while preventing cracks at first and second green sheets. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing lower plate for plasma display panel, is characterized in that barrier ribs are formed by using a green sheet having a two-layer structure including a first green sheet(60A) and a second green sheet(60B) which have different contents of organic substances. The first green sheet having a low content of organic substance, is attached onto a substrate(62). The second green sheet having a high content of organic substance, is attached onto the first green sheet.
