PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for exhausting intake system gas in an automobile capable of reducing blowby gas and fuel vaporization gas remaining in an air intake duct, an intake manifold, etc., after an engine is stopped to improve startability of the engine, and restricting emission of residual gas components of them to atmospheric air. SOLUTION: This device for restricting exhaust gas 61 is provided with a communication passage 58 communicating an upper space in a fuel tank 35 with a downstream part of the intake manifold 26, a control valve 60 provided at a specified position in the communication passage to be controlled to open/close the communication passage in accordance with vehicle states and engine states which are preliminarily set, and a check valve 60 to allow flow from the side of intake manifold 26 to the side of the fuel tank 35 only when inside pressure of the fuel tank 35 is negative for prohibiting backflow. When the engine is in a stopped state, with the inner pressure of the fuel tank in a negative state, the control valve is controlled to open to form communication in the communication passage, thereby the gas components are sucked from the intake manifold 26 to the fuel tank 35.
